how to order dutch door press wedding invitations

placing an order
  • once you select an invitation that you like, click on the link that says "click here to customize ink colors, see pricing, and place an order" which will take you through the steps of selecting your ink color(s) and the quantities of each piece you desire. you can list any questions you have at the end of the form where you will provide us with your contact info. then click "submit".
  • we will contact you within 1-2 business days of receiving your request to confirm your order and to arrange for a deposit payment. we accept checks, all major credit cards and can bill through paypal.
  • we will send you a font selection worksheet and request text from you via email. within 4-6 days of receiving text from you, you will receive your first pdf proof. two free rounds of proofs are included with your order.
  • following proof approval, you will receive your invitations within 3-4 weeks. final payment of your order is due prior to shipping. ground shipping is complementary on all orders, but you may pay for expedited shipping if you wish.
timing
wedding invitation etiquette dictates that invitations be sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. we recommend starting the process with us at least 5 to 6 weeks before you would like to receive the invitations. our turn around time is 3 to 4 weeks from proof approval. don't forget to factor in the time it takes to have calligraphy done or assembling the printed invites. if you require any part of your order earlier than 3-4 weeks, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

payment
dutch door press accepts visa, mastercard, and american express. we also accept personal checks or paypal. upon choosing to use our services, we will need a 50% deposit to get started with the process and the remaining 50% before the invitations ship to you.

shipping
our standard shipping method is ups. ground shipping is complementary on all orders, but you may pay for expedited shipping if you wish. once your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking number so you are able to track the status of your package. if you prefer to use another shipping method, please let us know and we will happily arrange it.

taxes
dutch door press is located in the state of california. we are required to charge a tax of 8.25% to all orders that ship within the state of california.

rush orders
we offer rush services if you would like your order faster than 3-4 weeks. please contact us about your timing and we will do our best to accommodate you.
